The first Ordinariate women's group
Monday 22nd October 2012

The first Ordinariate women's group has been established. It is based at the London (South) Ordinariate (meeting at Precious Blood Church, London Bridge) and is thriving. The special theme of the group is to foster a sense of Anglican patrimony and at each meeting a talk is given about a leading figure: the first two talks have been on Octavia Hill (social reformer, founder of the National Trust) and Lilian Bayliss (theatrical entrepreneur, associated with the Old Vic and Sadlers Wells) both of whom have strong links with South London. The group is also running a project for Catholic and Anglican primary schools which involves children doing artwork and studying the Psalms. Anyone interested in joining the group should contact the Secretary, London Bridge Women's Group, 22 Redcross Way, London SE1 1TA,
