Deaths of Father David Boundy, Maureen Houghton, and Father Brian Copus
Sunday 2nd June 2024

I regret to inform you of these deaths in our Ordinariate community:

Father David Boundy who had moved to Deal in the few years and was suffering from dementia died peacefully in Margate Hospital on Saturday 25th May.   

Maureen Houghton, wife of Father Jamie Houghton, who had been ill for sometime, died in the Kent and Canterbury Hospital on Sunday morning 26th May.  The funeral mass of Maureen Houghton, wife of Fr Jamie Houghton, will take place at St Paul’s Church, Dover at 11am on Tuesday 18th June.  That mass will be live streamed.

Father Brian Copus, a priest of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham who lived in Bournemouth.  He died on the 30th May. He was 88 years of age.  Please remember him at mass and also his wife Barbel.
