The Ordinariate in Scotland has a small but faithful presence in various parts of the country with sub-groups here in Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland as well as in Nairn, Whithorn in Galloway, Edinburgh and Elgin.
There are also Ordinariate members in other parts of Scotland who attend Ordinariate events whenever possible.
Solemn Mass is celebrated each Sunday in Inverness according to Divine Worship: The Missal, the Ordinariate Use, and draws worshippers from surrounding towns as well as Inverness. Mass is offered at 11am on Sundays and mid-week at 11.15am in the Oratory of Saint Joseph in the garden of Fr Len's house.
The Oratory of St Joseph is a 15 minute walk from the city centre on the other side of the River Ness at 49 Laurel Avenue in the Dalneigh area of the city where there is unrestricted parking. Refreshment are served in the garden after Mass, weather permitting, or in the house. Mass is also celebrated here on week days.
Fr Len and Fr Cameron and members of the group are also very glad to hear from Anglicans and Episcopalians wishing to explore the possibility of coming into the full communion of the Catholic Church through the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham.
