In union with Catholics throughout the world, the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham is praying for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis.

During his pontificate, Pope Francis, greatly encouraged the Ordinariates: expanding their scope for evangelisation and approving the Divine Worship Missal and other liturgical texts.  Exactly one year ago, Pope Francis made his support for the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham very clear by appointing one of its own priests as its 2nd Ordinary and 1st Bishop.

We now entrust Pope Francis to the mercy and love of God and pray for the college of cardinals at this time.

Prayer for Pope Francis I

O God, who of thy ineffable providence didst vouchsafe to number thy servant Pope Francis in the company of thy high Priests: grant, we beseech thee, that as he did fulfil on earth the office of thine Only Begotten Son, he may be numbered in the everlasting fellowship of thy holy Pontiffs; through the same Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
